How to raise consciousness

There are numerous ways to raise consciousness. Depending upon one’s situation, some may be more effective than others.Also remember that there is a difference between raising consciousness and only altering it. So, consider the personal (ego), transpersonal (unity/oneness) and transcendent (beyond ordinary reality) aspects of consciousness.
